Kinnected Game Truck Policies
BOOKING YOUR DATE
All bookings are completed by selecting an available date/time and making a $100 deposit. This deposit is credited toward your final balance which is due prior to the start of the event. FORMS OF PAYMENT: All major credit cards accepted. Checks are acceptable for non-profits and corporations but must clear prior to the event. Cash, Cash App, Venmo, Zelle, and PayPal are also accepted. TIMING OF PAYMENT: A $100 deposit is required at time of booking to confirm your requested event date and time. All remaining balances are due prior to the start of the event. Remaining balances can be paid online or by calling us at 267-809-6673.
TRAVEL SURCHARGE
Our primary service area is a 20-mile radius from our HQ Office at Philadelphia, PA 19111. For events outside of our primary service area, a travel surcharge fee (covers fuel and tolls) will be added to your booking.
PRIVACY POLICY
Kinnected Game Truck is committed to protecting your privacy. We use the information we collect on the site to make bookings with Kinnected Game Truck. We do not sell, trade, or rent your personal information to others.
DAMAGE/INJURY
Kinnected Game Truck or any of its employees will not be responsible for any damage to property resulting from a request by the client to position the theater in a specific location. This includes both above ground and below ground property/equipment damage. Additionally, Kinnected Game Truck reserves the right to charge the client for damages to the trailer or equipment resulting from the carelessness or willful damage of any Kinnected Game Truck Property by clients or their guests not following the rules outlined by the Game Coach. This includes but is not limited to excessive jumping, pushing, rambunctious behavior, inappropriate use of game controllers, or other behaviors that cause harm or damage to the Gaming Theater or other individuals. Kinnected Game Truck and its employees assume no responsibility for any injuries sustained on the client’s property or their designated location. All liability for damages or injuries is the sole responsibility of the client and/or host.
FOOD/DRINK
Kinnected Game Truck does not allow any food or drinks into the video game theater. Please have your guests consume them outside of the trailer prior to entering. We reserve the right to terminate any party if food or drinks are brought into the game trailer.
ALCOHOL/DRUGS/SMOKE
You may serve alcohol at a Kinnected Game Truck adult event or party; however, drugs of any sort will not be tolerated in or around the Video Games equipment. Any observed use of illegal narcotics or legal narcotics used in an illegal manner will result in the termination of the party immediately. We reserve the right to terminate any party if the use of alcohol is deemed excessive or unsafe. We do not allow smoking in or around our mobile game theater. Please keep any smoking activity away from the theater.
VIDEO GAME RATINGS
Kinnected Game Truck does not restrict “M” rated or higher games during parties/events. If you wish to have an “M” rated game or higher restricted from your party/event please contact us or let the Game Coach know as soon as you can before the event starts.
REFUND/CANCELLATION POLICY
A deposit is required to guarantee your Kinnected Game Truck reservation. The deposit will not be returned to client and will act as a cancellation fee for all parties or events canceled after payment is received and more than 14 days from scheduled event. NO REFUND will be granted in the event of your party reservation being canceled within 14 days of your event. Kinnected Game Truck will make every effort to reschedule your event, with no penalty, to another date, should cancellation be necessary.
WEATHER CONDITIONS
Although the Kinnected Game Truck trailer was designed for all types of weather conditions, there may be occasions when the weather does not want to cooperate with your scheduled party. In the event of severe weather (lightning, very high winds, flooding and/or extremely heavy rains, snow or ice) we may (and reserve the right to) reschedule your service to guarantee the safety of you, your guests, our staff and equipment. If the threat of these storms threatens your party and you are aware in advance (pending or anticipated snowstorm or other strong weather event) please contact us to begin the rescheduling. Kinnected’s mobile gaming theater is insulated, and climate controlled with heat and air conditioning.
PICTURES
While your party is in effect the Game Coach may be taking pictures of the party from inside or around the game trailer. We may use these photos on our social media pages and/or our web site. If you do not want our Game Coach taking these pictures or posting them on our pages, please contact us prior to the party or let the Game Coach know immediately upon our arrival.
SUPERVISED CHILDREN
Kinnected Game Truck does require a parent or responsible adult to be present inside or just outside of the trailer at all times. Guests under the age of 16 require a parent or guardian to be on the property and within contact with the game coach should a need to contact them arise.
TIPS
The Game Coach is there to make sure that your group is making the most of our gaming trailer. They are available to tutor, inspire and entertain your guests. Tipping for good service is graciously accepted but not required.
TRAILER PARKING AND DRIVEWAY ACCESS
The customer is required to provide a relatively flat, safe area for the Game Theater to park. Street fronts are preferable. Our truck and trailer combination is very long and we will need a minimum of 55 feet of space to park. Please have a blocked off area for the trailer. If you do not have enough space, we recommend that you contact your local church or recreation center. If the location is deemed unsafe for the employees, customers, players or other guests at the time of arrival, Kinnected Game Truck will request an alternative location be provided. If an alternative location cannot be found, we will allow the event to be rescheduled, but a $50 fee will be assessed in this event. We will park on driveways only if we can do so safely and there is enough room for the truck and trailer to maneuver into the driveway. If you are in a neighborhood, it is recommended to inform your neighbors as we might also have to block a driveway.
**Please keep in mind that our Game Coach will not park anywhere that may cause a danger to persons, property or equipment. Our truck and trailer combination is very long and we will need a minimum of 55 feet of space to park. Additionally, our Game Coach will never disconnect the truck from the trailer at a party/event without prior approval nor park off of a hardened surface We will not travel on UNPAVED single-lane access roads or driveways due to safety concerns for our staff and equipment.
